What are Groups?
You may know them as rTribes. Now, we’re simply calling them Groups at Richwoods.
Groups are small communities of 6–10 people who gather once a month to share a meal and spend time in scripture. As you share what you’re learning, pray honestly, and spend time together, these faces become your people — the ones who show up, listen well, and walk through life with you.
Groups at Richwoods are open to anyone 14 and older. Children 13 and younger may be included in the meal, with each Group deciding and coordinating together what childcare will look like.
What can you expect?
Real life is welcome.
Groups are not meant to be polished. Children may be running around, dinner can be simple, and there is room for honest conversation. Sharing ordinary life together builds the kind of trust that matters when life gets hard.
Everyone helps carry it.
A healthy Group does not depend on one person to make everything happen. Everyone contributes where they can — through the meal, conversation, prayer, encouragement, and the choice to prioritize showing up.
You become known.
Over time, familiar faces become people you turn to in joyful seasons, difficult ones, and the ordinary days between. Groups gives you people who know you, encourage your growth, and keep walking alongside you as you follow Jesus.
Take a step toward your people.
Your next meaningful friendship may begin with someone you have not met yet. Come to the next Groups launch and see what God might build as you follow Jesus together. Keep an eye on our events page for our next opportunity.
