Student Ministry Summer Intern
May 24 – August 4 (10 Weeks)
Full-Time | $3,000 Stipend ($300/week) | Ministry Expenses Paid
Richwoods Christian Church is seeking a full-time Student Ministry Summer Intern for a 10-week immersive leadership experience focused on developing emerging leaders who love Jesus and are called to invest in students.
This is a hands-on internship with real responsibility. By the end of the summer, the intern will have stepped into primary leadership roles of Student Ministry programming and execution under the supervision of the Youth Pastor.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Lead and support weekly student gatherings
• Shepherd middle school students through small groups and relational follow-up
• Plan and execute summer events
• Collaborate with and help coordinate volunteer leaders
• Communicate with parents and students
• Participate in weekly planning and staff rhythms
DEVELOPMENT FOCUS
This internship is designed for growth. The intern will:
• Receive regular coaching and feedback
• Read and discuss two ministry/leadership books
• Gradually assume increasing leadership responsibility
• Finish the summer functioning as point leader for middle school environments (with oversight)
