If you’re not currently in a group, or your last rTribe has ended, this is your opportunity to jump in and get connected. rTribes are small group communities that meet together once a month with the intention of encouraging one another in their journey of discipleship. Sign-ups will be open online from 3/4 through 3/22.
Jacob and Morgan Rendel, our rTribe team leads, will host a “Tell Me More” meeting during each of the three services on Sunday 3/15 in the Youth Room, where you can learn more and ask questions (attendance is not required to join).
The initial size for rTribes is 6 to 10 people 14 years or older. Any student or child 13 or younger can be part of your rTribe meal at your tribe’s choosing. Choices about childcare are left to the rTribe’s discretion and coordination.
rTribes will have rotating launches during the start of the Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons. So if you would like to learn more about joining an rTribe, an opportunity for you will be coming up very soon! Just keep a close eye on our Events page.

When you are part of a rTribe, you’ll probably experience children running around, messy conversations with others, and an average evening in other people’s homes. We believe this is a gift of this small group framework because it will be the path to having your rTribe in your corner when you face messy seasons in your own life.

One of the top priorities of rTribes is that no one takes on significantly more responsibility for sustaining meetings than others in the group. If you’re part of an rTribe, you are committing to contributing to your rTribes’ meals when you can, prioritizing the monthly gatherings in your schedule, and helping to carry your rTribe’s conversations so they are life-giving.
CIRCLE OF SAFETY: “rTribes are at their best when you can confidently turn to them for understanding, support, and encouragement.”
The entire structure of rTribes and the work you put in as a participant are all directed at achieving this Circle of Safety. Our prayer is that rTribes become the thing that you can depend on through thick and thin, and that you can experience the goodness of joining other people who encourage your spiritual growth and walk alongside you in tough seasons.
