Part-Time Executive Pastor Administrative Assistant
Richwoods Christian Church in Peoria, Illinois, is seeking a highly capable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented Executive Pastor Administrative Assistant to support the operational, financial, and administrative work of the church. This role is essential to helping our staff and ministries function with excellence, integrity, and clarity so that our church can stay focused on making disciples and loving our city well.
This position works closely with the Executive Pastor and plays a behind-the-scenes role that has a huge kingdom impact.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
FINANCE & ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
• Interface with our bookkeeping partner to ensure accurate and timely financial processing
• Count and record weekly contributions with precision and confidentiality
• Scan, organize, and send bills and financial documents
• Prepare and make bank deposits
HR & PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATION
• File and maintain confidential HR records
• Assist with onboarding and personnel paperwork
• Process and organize IRA, healthcare, and benefits-related documentation
• Support compliance and record-keeping needs as required
PROJECTS & MINISTRY PARTNERSHIPS
• Partner closely with the Executive Pastor to move key projects forward
• Provide administrative support for Tender Warriors and other ministry initiatives
• Assist with seasonal projects and church-wide initiatives
• Track details, deadlines, and follow-through so projects don’t stall
CALENDAR & SCHEDULING MANAGEMENT
• Manage calendars proactively and reactively for meetings and events
• Send reminder emails and manage appointments
COMMUNICATION & OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY
• Respond to emails promptly and professionally
• Help streamline workflows and improve systems
• Look for ways to increase efficiency and effectiveness across administrative processes

Creative Arts Director
Richwoods Christian Church in Peoria, Illinois, is seeking a full-time Creative Arts Director to join our team. This role focuses on telling meaningful stories, producing engaging creative media, and supporting weekend services through clear, compelling communication. The Creative Arts Director collaborates closely with staff and volunteers to highlight life change and advance the mission of the church.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Storytelling & Testimonies
• Identify, develop, and produce powerful stories that highlight life change, ministry impact, and the heart of the church.
• Build strong relationships across ministries to uncover and plan upcoming story opportunities.
• Interview individuals with sensitivity, pastoral awareness, and respect.
• Write scripts, outlines, and storyboards to guide the storytelling process from concept to delivery.
2. Video Production & Creative Media
• Oversee the planning, filming, editing, and publishing of video content for weekend services, events, social media, and the web.
• Maintain a consistent visual and creative identity across all video and media projects.
• Lead, coach, and provide creative direction for volunteer videographers, editors, and content creators.
• Manage project timelines, equipment usage, and media storage systems.
3. Communications & Messaging
• Develop clear, compelling communication for church-wide events, initiatives, and weekend services.
• Write and edit scripts, announcement copy, testimony introductions, special-event messaging, and social media content.
• Collaborate closely with pastoral staff to ensure all communication aligns with the church’s vision, theology, and tone.
• Help maintain consistency in voice and messaging across all platforms.
4. Weekend Service Support
• Create or source visual elements such as bumper videos, countdowns, transitions, and service graphics.
• Support storytelling moments within services, including baptisms, interviews, and mission highlights.
5. Leadership & Collaboration
• Recruit, train, and lead volunteers in storytelling, video, photography, and communications.
• Champion creativity across ministries while providing structure, quality control, and alignment.
• Manage creative workflows, deadlines, and communication between ministries and teams.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong creative eye and a passion for telling stories that point people to Jesus.
• Experience in video production, including shooting, editing, and scripting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead volunteers and collaborate effectively with staff teams.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar creative tools.
• Highly organized, flexible, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A heart for ministry, spiritual maturity, and alignment with the church’s mission and beliefs.

Worship Pastor
Richwoods Christian Church in Peoria, Illinois, is seeking a Worship Pastor to join our team and provide leadership to our Worship, Production, and Creative Arts ministries. We are looking for a leader who loves the Church, has a passion for developing people, and desires to create a vibrant worship culture where people encounter Jesus, experience His transforming power, and live on-mission.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Worship Pastor will be responsible for crafting meaningful, Christ-centered worship experiences that connect people to God and inspire them to take their next steps in finding and following Jesus. Our ideal candidate will live out the Richwoods values and have a passion to serve His church, develop and shepherd teams, foster creativity, and partner with our Lead Pastor to design services that are both Spirit-led and excellently executed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide visionary leadership to the Worship, Production, and Creative Arts teams
• Design and lead engaging weekly worship services in partnership with the Lead Pastor
• Build, disciple, and empower a thriving teammate culture within the Worship, Production, and Creative Arts Teams, including care and investment of your teammates beyond Sunday mornings
• Shape creative elements (sets, song selection, service flow, visuals) that amplify the message and point people to Jesus
• Champion Richwoods’ mission, values, and vision throughout all areas of ministry
• Pursue ongoing growth as a leader, pastor, and follower of Jesus by learning from others and embracing new opportunities
• Engage with our staff team through faithful attendance at team meetings
