It’s been a while since I ran into anyone whose schedule was becoming less busy. Just the change in seasons creates more to do for those who own a home. With all the rain and warmer weather, grass is growing double-time. As leaders within the church we want to be sensitive to our volunteers’ schedules. And as I write that, I’m going to turn around and invite you to another thing. Not to give you something to do, but to give the staff of Richwoods an opportunity to celebrate the energy you, and so many like you, put into helping build Richwoods into the church God is calling us to be.
This Saturday from 9:00-10:15am at our Knoxville Campus we will be hosting one of our Leadership Communities. We will be disclosing information about our 50th Anniversary plans this September (it’s going to be BIG!), sharing about recent life-change, highlighting a volunteer or two, and providing some practical tools to help us all engage with others. Oh, and we’ll provide bagels, spreads, coffee, and juice.
If you have any part in volunteering at Richwoods, Leadership Community is for you, please join us.

On average Richwoods needs to receive $39.1K in gifts to meet its 2017 operating expenses, 10% of which goes immediately to Missions and helping people in our community who are experiencing financial troubles.
