Partners, not competitors

This week a handful of people from Richwoods are working alongside several other churches at the Carver Center to provide a Vacation Bible School for the children in that neighborhood.  This is our second year in partnership with them and we don’t intend on picking up one single visitor from the effort.

Last year we had the blessing of helping a couple of churches in that area find ways to work together to reach more people with the good news of Jesus.  The same thing is happening this year.  As we bless other churches, we are finding greater joy and satisfaction in a healthier Kingdom of God here on earth. You see, people all around us are struggling to make sense of this life without the hope of Christ, it’s why we position ourselves to helping people find and follow Christ. So while Richwoods may not grow as a result, we hope the larger church in our area grows as a result of the churches partnering together.
