When faced with overwhelming odds a friend of mine used to always ask, “How do you eat an elephant?” The answer has always been, “One bite at a time.”
There are over 360,000 people in the tri-county area, many of them struggle to make sense of this life without Jesus. That’s an elephant no matter how you look at it.
Our hope and prayer at Richwoods is to help the people who attend this church enlarge their hearts toward the people they come into contact with who are far from God and struggling to make sense of this life and invite them to experience Jesus with us.
Our student ministry staff is already ahead of us, they have been encouraging students to think and pray about a friend they can invite, and then to muster up the courage to invite them to join them at a youth group event. It’s one friend at a time, for the sake of spreading the great news of restoration.
No-one deserves to live without the hope of Christ, Who can you be praying about?
