Embracing Summer

Embracing Summer

With Memorial Day weekend behind us, the start of summer is here. Vacations and weekend getaways will soon fill our calendars. Summer offers many of us the opportunity to take a break from routine.

Traditionally, we see a dip in our average weekly attendance as well as a dip in our giving during this season as we enjoy the summer. We have learned to budget for both along the way. However, if I may offer a way, through the use of our app, where we can continue to embrace summer excursions while at the same time stay connected as a church.

Our app, which is available for both Android and iOS users, provides the ability to listen to or watch past sermons, or a link to watch services live, while taking notes. It also provides an easy way to continue to support the ministries of the church while you may be out of town.

I switched over to giving on the app back in December and it’s been so easy to use, even when I was out of town for the entire month of February. We want everyone at Richwoods to enjoy this summer of warmth, rest, and travel. Please enjoy the blessings God is putting in your path and take your church family with you on your phone or tablet!
