I remember when our kids were in grade school. Jill and her neighborhood friends could not wait for this time of year. The start up of school. On the first day, they would gather at one of their homes to celebrate the day. They looked forward to getting the kids back into a routine.
I know it’s also a busy time as parents run around trying to gather up school supplies, figure out bus schedules, complete forms, get sports physicals lined up, and keep the checkbook balanced in the midst of it. This too shall pass and as we enter into the fall we can again find a rhythm in this upcoming season.
Let me encourage you to think about beginning a routine that would be helpful. We’re going to encourage everyone this September to “circle up” and “pair up” with others as we celebrate 50 years of being a church and jump into a study together.
