What are your worship services like?
Our worship services include both traditional and contemporary aspects. Richwoods worship bands play worship music by artists like Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman and David Crowder along with hymns and original worship music. The sermons are Bible-based and communicated in a relevant and interesting style. We celebrate communion each Sunday for those who choose to participate.
Do you have Children’s programs?
We have a fun, safe, and energetic children’s ministry that impacts kids and families. Kids ROCK Ministries offer age-appropriate programs ranging from infants (6 weeks old) to 5th grade students. To make Kids ROCK Ministries safe, we require that only parents/guardians check-in and pick-up their children.
Parents bring their children to the check-in desk in the children’s wing, where your child is given a name badge and you are issued a parent ID card with your child’s name and corresponding number. Then your child is directed to his/her classroom (You may go with them to meet his/her teacher, if you like.) Immediately following the worship service, parents pick up their children directly from their class in the children’s wing where you hand in your parent ID card and your child’s name badge to your child’s teacher.
If your family number appears in the lower right hand corner of the screens anytime during the service, please come to the kid’s wing and report to the check-in desk. (Your child needs your assistance due to sickness, crying, or behavior).
Do you have Adult Sunday school classes?
Our church focuses primarily on small groups that meet in each other’s homes during the week. Due to the high percentage of participation in the small groups, we do not offer an Adult Sunday school program. Do you have Youth programs on Sunday morning?
It is a value of our youth ministry for the teens to be engaged in corporate worship. As a result, we do not offer a Sunday morning youth group. Students do make connections with their peers in “student lounge” before and after services. Our regular youth group takes place every Wednesday night at the church from 7:00-8:30 pm.
